David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25 1948) is an American anchor, journalist and reporter. He is most well-known for his show World News Tonight. Its stunning video footage as well as its animated gestures make it the most seen newscast in America. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning series. The show's predecessor Diane Sawyer was the anchor of ABC World News Tonight before becoming the anchor. ABC News has broadcast many specials during primetime, with the most recent being Breaking Point Heroin in America. He has traveled around the globe, covering news in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. His awards include multiple Edward R. Murrow Awards in addition to distinctions from the Associated Press.
